Assistant Branch Manager
Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of a busy and successful branch. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the branch.
In the absence of the Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing branch operations and leading the team to achieve business objectives.
Key Objectives
Support the Branch Manager in the effective day-to-day management of the branch
Deliver knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service to all customers
Drive sales growth and maximise branch profitability
Contribute to a high-performing team environment where customer expectations are consistently exceededKey Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure the correct products and solutions are provided
Proactively identify sales opportunities and confidently offer product advice and recommendations
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-merchandised counter area in line with company standards
Ensure all sales-related documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with company policy
Liaise effectively with suppliers, other branches, and internal departments as required
Support the Branch Manager and colleagues to ensure the branch operates efficiently and in compliance with company procedures
Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant working environment in line with Health & Safety guidelines
Assist with stock control, stock-taking, ordering from suppliers, and customer follow-ups as required
