Your new role
As a Private Client Tax Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll manage relationships with privately or family-owned businesses, private equity portfoliopanies, and business owners, advising on a broad range ofplex UK and international tax matters.Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading client engagements and managing tax advisory projects
2. Developing long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
3. Collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
4. Staying up to date with UK and overseas tax legislation and technical developments
5. Supporting and coaching junior team members
6. Contributing to business development and thought leadership through networking and technical writing
You’ll work closely with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners, and be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
7. ACA and/or CTA qualification (or international equivalent)
8. Relevant and up-to-date UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge
9. Experience advising privately owned businesses, private equity portfoliopanies, and business owners
10. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements
11. Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills
12. A coaching mindset andmitment to developing others
13. Strong writtenmunication skills, including technical memos and reports
14. Initiative, drive, and the ability to build trusted client relationships
