Overview
Priory Primary School is looking for a successful candidate who must have a good understanding of the primary curriculum, a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour and be fully committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our children. The Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust is responsible for ten schools across Hull; three secondary and seven primary. A Thrive school is a dynamic community of staff, pupils and their families all focussed on one thing – inspiring pupils to thrive in life.
Salary: Grade 4, Point 5 - 7 (£18,085 - £18,665 actual salary per annum). Hours: 31.25 hours per week, Term Time Only. Monday – Friday 08:30 – 15:15 (30 minute unpaid break). Fixed Term contract – until 31st August 2026. ASAP.

Responsibilities
* Provide support in line with the primary curriculum to help pupils achieve good outcomes.
* Assist with behaviour management and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Support the teaching of phonics and other curriculum areas as required; experience with children with additional needs is desirable.
* Contribute to a friendly, dedicated team in a welcoming learning environment and participate in any required training.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent communication skills; hardworking, creative, enthusiastic and flexible.
* Strong skills in English (written, reading and spoken) and Maths; willingness to develop in other curriculum areas.
* Good understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to support diverse learners.
* Desirable: experience with phonics and working with children with additional needs.
