About you: Previous experience in a Claims Handler role, ideally with broker or insurer backgrounds Knowledge of the end-to-end claims process and insurance cover basics Strong organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in systems like Acturis or Open GI being advantageous Motivated to deliver outstanding customer service and professional to handle queries confidently Satisfy all pre-employment checks, including criminal records and credit What you'll do: Manage a variety of claims including motor, household, commercial, liability, and personal injury Accurately process claims from notification to settlement, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients Provide expert advice on policy coverage and loss mitigation Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure claims are handled efficiently Identify complex or high-value claims and escalate appropriately Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, company policies, and best practices Support the preparation of management reports and handle customer queries with professionalism For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
