1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Birmingham Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Long-term supply – September 2025 start£90 - £120 per day – dependent on experience“Good”, 2 Form entry primary school in Sheldon, BirminghamOne-to-one SEN TA with a Year 3 student with Autism.The RoleAs a SEN Teaching assistant, you will be supporting the pupil’s learning and development through tailored interventions and activities. You will work closely with the class teacher and SLT. You will assist with students’ social communication, emotional regulation and classroom engagement. As a SEN TA you will provide regular feedback to both staff and parents on the progress the student makes.The CandidateYou will have experience supporting children with Autism and be calm, patient and have a nurturing approach, especially in 1:1 settings. You have strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, SENCo and parents/carers. You will be resilient and can remain positive when faced with challenges in behaviour or communication.
