Power Platform Administrator Take ownership of our entire Power Platform ecosystem. You'll be the guardian of our environment, managing governance, DLP policies, licensing, and ensuring seamless integrations with our enterprise systems (Tribal EBS, Business Central, iTrent). About the Role:

This new role at the college is responsible for the strategic administration, governance, and operational management of the College's Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role ensures the secure, compliant, and efficient operation of all Power Platform services whilst supporting the college’s new Digital Transformation Department through environment management, user access control, and platform optimisation. The administrator will work closely with the development team and business stakeholders to maintain platform integrity and drive adoption across the institution.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Administer and maintain the overall Power Platform tenant, including environment provisioning and configuration via the Power Platform Admin Centre (PPAC)
* Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and sharing controls
* Monitor platform usage patterns, and manage solutions to ensure optimal use of Power Apps, Power Automate and other solutions
* Manage user permissions, security roles, and access governance across multiple environments and business units
* Administer user accounts, licences, and access rights across the Power Platform ecosystem, including learner and staff access management.
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Power Platform services, including troubleshooting permission issues
* Manage connections and integrations between Power Platform and existing College systems including Tribal EBS (learner records), Business Central (finance), iTrent (People and Culture), and library management systems, ensuring data consistency, security, and optimal performance
* Contribute to the College's digital strategy by identifying opportunities for platform enhancement and operational improvement
* Maintain awareness of Microsoft roadmap developments and industry best practices in Power Platform administration


Additional Duties

* Actively champion and implement the College's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy, and all other college policies, including confidentiality and data protection.
* Participate proactively in and contribute to the College Performance Management and Review process.
* Attend and contribute meaningfully to staff meetings and learning and development opportunities as required, maintaining professional currency.
* Ensure full compliance with Fire and Health & Safety Regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
* Support cross-functional projects and initiatives that enhance institutional effectiveness and learner experience.
