Pertemps are recruiting for a Street Cleansing Operative based in Llanelli on a temporary basis to deliver a high-quality grounds maintenance service across a range of public open spaces. Salary: £12.84 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (Flexibility required – occasional early starts and some weekend working may be necessary) Location : Llanelli The role: Sweep, collect and remove litter, leaves, weeds and waste from public areas including roads, pavements and shopping areas Lift, move, empty and return refuse containers such as wheelie bins, household bins, sacks and recycling containers Collect fly-tipping and carry out litter picking in allocated areas as directed Assist the vehicle driver with safe manoeuvring during collections and at disposal sites Drive a cleansing or refuse vehicle when required. Report defects, missed collections, spillages and operational issues to the Refuse Supervisor or Area Controller Support other duties within the refuse and cleansing service when required Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence Experience working in front-line environmental or cleansing services Experience using powered tools, mechanical equipment or plant Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work independently and as part of a team To Apply, please attach your CV or call the office on 02920 220776 for more information.
