We are currently seeking a Production Operative (Reach Truck) to join our cutting department on an ongoing basis at a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln, renowned for being a world leader in their field.
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in our manufacturing process, operating cutting equipment and machinery, including a reach forklift truck, to support production needs.
What will I be paid?
1. Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour.
What hours will I work?
2. Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:20
What will my responsibilities be?
3. Operating cutting equipment, including laser machinery
4. Performing precise cutting tasks to meet production specifications
5. Operating a reach truck to support material handling and production processes
6. Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment
7. Collaborating with the production team to meet daily or weekly schedules
8. Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
What skills and experience do I need?
9. Valid reach truck driving licence (essential)
10. Experience operating cutting equipment or laser machinery (preferred)
11. Competent English and numeracy skills
12. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
13. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
14. Reliable transport to reach site
