Department: Catastrophic Injury/Large Loss

Role: Paralegal
The Team
Our Catastrophic Personal Injury and Large Loss team covers every aspect of a claim, including liability investigations, policy coverage assessments, quantum assessments for all levels of Multi‑Track claims. You will work for leading insurer, corporate, and public body clients, with opportunities to develop client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team within our multi‑award‑winning firm.
We have a collaborative, supportive team working in a modern, flexible environment. You will assist experienced partners with complex, high‑value and sensitive claims, while handling your own case load. The team handles a range of claims including motor, EL, PL, abuse claims, and public law actions particularly Judicial Reviews.
Responsibilities
* Assist lawyers and partners with day‑to‑day management of claims.
* Conduct liability enquiries, obtain and review medical records and reports.
* Draft witness statements and prepare instructions to experts and counsel.
* Prepare counsel/court bundles and handle general administrative duties.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Knowledge of the litigation process is useful (not essential).
* Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
