What you will be doing:
* Delivering dynamic and engaging lessons from pre-planned materials across the full KS2 curriculum.
* Applying strong classroom management techniques to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Encouraging intellectual curiosity and fostering independent learning skills in pupils.
* Adapting your teaching style to meet the diverse needs of children in different year groups.
* In some placements, you may be involved in supporting pupils with their preparation for SATs.
What you will need:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
* A solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
* Confidence in your ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* A professional, adaptable, and resilient attitude.
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one.
