This role aims to support the client in delivering industry-leading services. As a key representative of the business, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders. The role involves working in the control room as a CCTV controller, responsible for monitoring and managing surveillance cameras, ensuring site safety and security by observing live footage, recognizing threats, and responding appropriately to incidents. You must follow established protocols, communicate effectively with security personnel, and document all activities and incidents.
An SIA Door Supervisor and Guarding license is essential for consideration.
Training Requirements
Candidates must undergo specialized training in security control room operations, alarm management software, and have comprehensive knowledge of security systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate the Security Alarm Monitoring Unit, responding promptly to security events and incidents.
* Enforce security protocols for staff, contractors, and visitors.
* Provide essential security advice and alerts as required.
* Monitor and ensure the functionality of security measures to protect personnel, processes, and property.
Additional Duties
* Act as the primary contact for security activities on-site.
Future Responsibilities
* Conduct security investigations, review CCTV footage, and assist with projects.
* Manage access control, conduct audits, and develop security documentation.
* Create work orders, maintain reporting systems, and oversee intercom and maintenance tasks.
* Integrate security systems with IoT devices and delegate tasks to security staff.
