Kelly Services are looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer to work for an established and respected client based in Shepshed, Leicestershire.
Salary: £30,500 per annum
Monday to Friday: 8:15 am until 4:45 pm

The Role
It is the responsibility of the Workshop Engineer to repair and maintain machines as they enter the Service Department.
To occasionally attend customer sites should a unit be too large to return to the client’s premises. To be part of the team carrying out pre-delivery inspections on high value goods and to contribute as part of the rota working in the assembly area producing goods for sale.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the principles of risk assessments and be able to follow ISO processes.
Key Responsibilities
* To ensure machines are repaired and tested to a safe and operable condition.
* To support customer service colleagues in explaining the reasons for faults and failures to customers
* Ensuring that high value machines leave the premises safely and fit for purpose.
* Assemble goods to a level that enables the user to enjoy a turnkey solution.
* Maintain cleanliness of their working environment.
* Adhere to and respect Health and Safety for themselves and others.
* Quality and working procedures are met.
* Follow ISO processes as pertinent to the role
* Suggesting improvements in procedures to the Service Manager.
* Any reasonable duties, which from time to time may be required.
