Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of major infrastructure, highways, and residential development packages within a large-scale regeneration scheme. This role offers the chance to manage high-value contracts across thousands of new homes, employment space, and key community infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
 * 
 Set, monitor, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
 * 
 Lead procurement strategies and manage subcontract tendering, appointments, and payments.
 * 
 Oversee NEC/JCT contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
 * 
 Liaise with design and technical teams to ensure proposals align with approved budgets.
 * 
 Support value engineering and sustainability objectives.
 * 
 Attend design, progress, and commercial meetings as required.
 * 
 Manage and mentor the commercial team, ensuring compliance with company policies and governance.
 * 
 Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain.
Project Scope
The development includes:
 * 
 4,000–4,600 new homes and 3.75m sq. ft. of employment space
 * 
 Major infrastructure including new highways, bridges, floodplain links, and utilities upgrades
 * 
 Community facilities such as new schools, public open spaces, and a community hub
About You
 * 
 Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS on large infrastructure or mixed-use developments.
 * 
 Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (NEC / JCT).
 * 
 Skilled in procurement, cost reporting, and stakeholder management.
 * 
 Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (MRICS/CIOB desirable).
