We're looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our sales team based at our Agecroft site (previously A1 Services Manchester) and develop into a sales professional.
Your role will rely heavily on your teamwork and communication skills as you'll be providing excellent service in a customer facing role. To start with you will be learning the ropes and your duties will develop as your skills do. We aim to have you 'up and running' as quickly as we can, as we know that job satisfaction comes from having responsibility and autonomy, but you'll never be left without as much support as you need.
Our sales teams help customers choose the right products and solutions for their needs.
You'll need to be confident on the telephone and have a good eye for detail to take accurate orders and produce quotes. Sales excellence is about balancing the customer's needs with maintaining margin, volume and profit and you'll develop sales skills to achieve this.
You'll learn how to confidently make proactive sales. These calls are important to gain market knowledge, build relationships with new customers and manage existing customers to help them understand the full range of products and services we offer. To do this successfully, you'll need to be able to accurately maintain customer records.
Regularly engaging with our external sales force, operations and office support teams, you'll be expected to forge strong working relationships with all key accounts and will manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules. In accordance with our safety culture, you will be fully trained on health and safety and environmentally responsible behaviour, and you will be expected to lead by example, proactively promoting and instilling a culture where the health and safety of every team member is the number one priority.
Key accountabilities:
* Dealing with internal sales enquiries and making proactive external sales calls
* Creating and managing quotations and orders, including management of customer paperwork
* Interacting with trade counter customers from enquiry to sale
* Supporting with yard trade custom including supporting in the weighbridge, providing required paperwork and dealing with yard trade enquiries
* Supporting the external sales function
* The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
* desire to deliver good quality customer service
* Good communication skills

What’s on Offer:
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
