Power Electronics Engineer – Automotive Inverters

We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join our growing engineering team, working on the design and development of advanced automotive power electronics systems, including traction inverters and high-voltage power conversion technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge electrification projects within the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop automotive power electronics systems, including traction inverters and high-power DC-DC converters
* Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
* Perform circuit simulation, analysis, and component selection for high-voltage and high-current applications
* Support prototype development, testing, and validation of power electronics hardware
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers
* Ensure designs meet automotive standards, reliability, and safety requirements
* Assist with debugging, performance optimization, and product improvement activities
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Experience designing power electronics hardware
* Proficiency using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
* Strong understanding of power conversion topologies, switching devices, and control methods
* Experience with high-voltage or automotive electronics systems
* Knowledge of testing and validation techniques for power electronics
Desirable Skills
* Experience with automotive traction inverters or motor drive systems
* Familiarity with SiC / GaN power devices
* Experience with thermal design, EMC/EMI mitigation, and reliability analysis
* Understanding of automotive development processes and standards
