We are also part of the Government Commercial Function (GCF), which is an essential element of addressing the value for money agenda whilst delivering higher quality public services across government. HMRC is a very large and complex organisation and the goods and services it requires from third parties to enable HMRC people to carry out their work effectively ranges from everyday commodities to innovative commercial arrangements supporting frontline delivery. We provide a comprehensive commercial service that includes providing market insight to support strategy development, helping shape business needs and engaging suppliers throughout the commercial lifecycle to deliver cost-effective business outcomes. We also manage commercial risk across HMRC and place emphasis on customer service to ensure all stakeholders are dealt with in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement and Management Stakeholders will come from across HMRC, requiring varying levels of engagement and management. You will act as a single point of contact for multiple groups, completing regular touchpoints, answering queries, organising sessions, preparing materials, presenting to large audiences and managing delivery expectations. Communications Regular communications will need to be shared with wider audiences within HMRC, to provide key updates on the delivery and share potential impacts this will have on them and their teams. These will need to be delivered in both written and verbal formats. Framework Structure Management Following the framework go-live date, support will need to be provided for stakeholders to ensure the management structure agreed is implemented effectively. This will be ensuring that escalation routes, roles and responsibilities and any inputs required are clear and understood.
