The role
We are looking for a Country Manager - UK who will be a key part of building and running our commercial operations in the United Kingdom.
This is what you will do:
* Drive and own the UK business activities end-to-end by driving all workstreams and serving as the primary go-to person for the market — internally and with external partners.
* Recruit, Lead and develop a high performing Zeekr UK team.
* Set-up and develop a strong dealer network that aligned with Zeekr’s brand positioning.
* Build a premium brand and execute a consistent PR and marketing strategy.
* Lead performance by advocating for your market’s needs and confidently translating insights into action.
* Execute the growth and expansion plan, ensuring all key milestones and deliverables for the market are achieved.
* Set up and coordinate the service partner network, ensuring agreements, processes, and training are in place.
* Support B2B sales activities in collaboration with the central B2B team (focus on fleets and early adopters).
* Manage external stakeholders (service providers, logistics partners, agencies) to ensure on-time delivery of commitments.
* Identify and remove roadblocks to keep launch activities on track.
* Coordinate aftersales readiness by being the focal point for queries and ensuring information flows between service partners and the central aftersales team.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
* Minimum of 5+ years business experience in UK in a leading commercial role within the automotive industry, preferably partly in a new entrant EV brand.Hands-on experience and proven track record in establishing market entries and brand launches in the automotive sector.
* · Minimum of 5+ years in building or steering a dealer network.
* · Solid understanding of different automotive sales channels (fleet, retail, digital).
* · Strong operational focus: ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
* · Experience leading and developing a high performing team.
* · Customer-oriented mindset and commitment to ensuring a smooth customer experience from day one.
* · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to keep things moving under pressure.
* · Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions and cultures.
* · Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
