About the Role The post holder over sees the management of the database system that supports the maintenance and growth of the engagement of one of Queen Mary’s largest stakeholder audiences, our global community of over 240,000 alumni. The role ensures the legislative compliance of the data records and the purposeful analysis of trends and data; the organisation and running of Regular Giving campaigns and the Prospect Research and prospect pipelines. About You We are looking for someone who has proven experience of managing the Access ThankQ, or similar CRM and relational database used for marketing, engagement and fundraising, gained in either a charity or HE setting; of collating large amounts of data and presenting it in appropriate formats to colleagues, senior managers and volunteers. Experience of project-based research, producing reports on likely donors to specific campaigns. Knowledge of information sources relevant to HE fundraising and the ability to interrogate them effectively. Experience and knowledge of best practice used when undertaking research to find high-value prospective donors and providing detailed information on high-net-worth individuals, companies and charitable trusts. Working knowledge of the functioning of a Foundation registered on both the Charity Commission and Companies House in relation to governance, banking, recording and dispersal of funds. Detailed and practical knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PECR/e-Privacy Regulation and the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
