Caspian One is partnering with a leading capital markets organisation on a large scale platform engineering programme and is looking to build out a number of experienced DevOps engineers to support delivery.
This opportunity sits within a complex, highly regulated environment, focused on improving engineering practices, strengthening CI/CD capability, and evolving cloud infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
* Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, reliable delivery
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC principles
* Support the development and deployment of cloud‑native services within Azure
* Improve release management processes and deployment standards
* Work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to ensure resilience and compliance
* Contribute to monitoring, observability, and incident response improvements
Key Experience Required
* Strong hands‑on experience with Public cloud (GCP/Azure preferred)
* Proven background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
* Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and version control (Git)
* Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell, or Go)
* Exposure to monitoring/logging platforms (e.g. Splunk or similar)
* Understanding of secure engineering practices in regulated environments
Additional Context
* Experience within capital markets or financial services is highly desirable
* Comfortable working as part of a wider delivery team across multiple workstreams
* Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a collaborative environment

* Sheffield-based
* Hybrid model (approximately 50% onsite)
* Engaged via Caspian One as part of a broader programme team
