Primary Teacher (KS1) Location: Beeston, NottinghamshireStart Date: ASAP / September Start AvailableContract: Long-term (Full-time)Salary: £150 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Beeston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to a Year 1 or Year 2 class, supporting pupils in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
* Use effective phonics strategies to support early reading development
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within KS1 (EYFS experience also desirable)
* Strong understanding of phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A nurturing and patient approach to teaching
