Job Purpose
To provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the MSK Physiotherapy Service across West Dunbartonshire. The postholder will contribute to the efficient delivery of patient care by supporting clinical and non-clinical staff in a busy, multi-site environment.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for patients and staff, handling enquiries professionally and
confidentially.
* Manage appointment bookings, referrals, and clinic schedules using NHS systems such as
TrakCare.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely data entry.
* Provide secretarial support including minute-taking, typing, and correspondence.
* Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to support seamless service delivery.
* Support the team in achieving service targets and quality standards.
Skills And Experience Required
* Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and NHS systems (e.g. TrakCare, SCI Gateway).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Flexible and proactive approach to workload management. Additional Information The MSK Physiotherapy Service operates across multiple sites including Woodside HC, Maryhill HC, Possilpark HC, Community Centre for Health, Partick, Gartnavel General Hospital, Vale of Leven, Dumbarton HC, Drumchapel HC, and Clydebank HC. Travel between sites may be required.
