Role responsibilities
The Utilities Coordinator will support the wider team by being the point of contact for utility enquiries and provide timely and relevant information on utilities, assist in the processing of roadwork notifications and file diversion applications as necessary for the company to carry out project delivery.
* Plan and manage day to day activity by liaising with the Utilities Manager and prioritising workload to ensure projects meet their delivery milestones for time, cost and quality.
* Request, collate, interpret and report on utilities information using email, web systems and Microsoft Office to ensure projects are aware of on-site utilities.
* Upload timely roadwork notifications using EToN (Electronic Transfer of Notices) systems to inform highway authorities and other utilities of TfW initiated streetwork.
* Submit applications for utility diversion estimates using email and web systems to support project cost discovery.
Who we\\\'re looking for
* Awareness of the utility industries in Wales and the roles and responsibilities of common owners and operators.
* Highly organised, pro-active and good attention to detail.
* Proficient IT skills with an experience in using Microsoft Office and understanding of corporate systems such as BIM and ERP (Enterprise Resource and Planning).
* Familiar with utility plans and their interpretation.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
