Our client, a leading water sector specialist are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee water sector projects. You will join a reputable MEICA contractor with long term progression opportunities and be involved in substantial projects. The role is primarily working across Kent & East Sussex, with travel outside of this area required on occasion. This role pays up to £50k (experience dependent) company van. (Whilst permanent is heavily preferred, the client may consider contractors) Job Overview The role requires an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical activities across construction, installation, and refurbishment projects within the water and wastewater sector. Responsibilities include supervising site teams, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance. The role requires delivery of works to agreed timelines and budgets while maintaining consistent quality. The role requires acting as a key point of coordination between site personnel, engineering teams, project management, and stakeholders to support efficient and safe project delivery. The role requires flexibility to travel to multiple sites and to operate effectively within varied and sometimes challenging environments. Key Requirements Demonstrable experience in the water or utilities sector, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities on construction or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to water and wastewater operations In-depth knowledge of electrical systems associated with treatment and process environments A commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and adherence to industry best practice Effective problem-solving and decision-making capability, including in time-critical or high-pressure situations Essential Qualifications ECS or JIB Gold Card (Supervisor level) SSSTS certification A recognised electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Inspection and Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) Full UK driving licence
