About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Production Assistant to join our partner’s growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, supporting the production of advanced optical and scientific components. You will work alongside skilled technicians and engineers, gaining insight into precision manufacturing processes and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the day-to-day operations of the production floor.
* Support the manufacturing and assembly of precision optical components.
* Maintain accurate records of production activities, ensuring traceability and quality compliance.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
* Help ensure cleanroom standards and safety protocols are consistently upheld.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with the handling and movement of materials.
* Participate in product inspections, testing, and quality control procedures.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements:
* A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control is beneficial.
* Prior internship, workshop, or lab experience in a production or technical environment is a plus.
