The Role The school is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to support and improve student attendance across all year groups. This is a vital role within the pastoral team, ensuring that students attend regularly and barriers to attendance are identified and addressed promptly. You will play a key role in monitoring attendance data, liaising with families, and working closely with pastoral leaders to support students who require additional intervention. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily attendance and punctuality across the school Maintain accurate attendance records using school systems Identify patterns of absence and implement appropriate interventions Contact parents/carers regarding student absence Work closely with Heads of Year and safeguarding teams Prepare attendance reports and data analysis Support strategies to improve whole-school attendance Liaise with external agencies where required Ensure compliance with attendance policies and procedures School Environment The school prides itself on its supportive and inclusive environment.
