We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and committed EYFS Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Tonbridge, starting as soon as possible. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with children at a formative stage of their education, helping to establish strong foundations in learning, confidence, and personal development.
As an EYFS Teacher, you will lead a Reception or Nursery class, delivering high-quality provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Your Role
In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum. You will create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to explore, communicate, and develop independence.
You will observe and assess children regularly, using this information to inform planning and provide targeted support. Strong communication with parents and carers is an important part of the role, ensuring positive relationships and shared understanding of each child’s progress.

Key Responsibilities

* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
* Use assessment to plan next steps and support individual needs
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development
* Support early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and Early Years colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives

* A qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experienced in Early Years or Reception teaching

* Willing to contribute positively to the wider school community
