Commercial Portfolio Manager
About the Job
As part of the Allianz Technology team supporting the Allianz UK Commercial Insurance business you will manage a broad portfolio of projects and services. You will work closely with the Allianz Technology Commercial Vertical Lead to assess strategic alignments, manage evaluation of demand, prioritize, and approve projects. You will monitor portfolio performance including resource, financials, risks and dependencies and ensure appropriate reporting. You will ensure accurate decision-making preparation and communication.
What you do
* Evaluate and select projects or services, based on business strategy, and requested approvals.
* Manage portfolio performance, portfolio risk and escalate issues, if necessary, initiate corrective action and recommendations.
* Manage across the portfolio resource and financial demand from both a tactical and strategic perspective connecting with project manager, dev managers and vertical lead as required.
* Resolve and prepare resolution of inter-portfolio dependencies and risks from a strategic perspective and in a business continuity context.
* Ensure accurate decision-making preparation, prioritization, and partner communication on senior management level.
* Advise project managers, service owners and partners and support them along the approval process and reporting lifecycle.
What you bring
* Experience in organizational transformation and change management.
* Understanding of risk, quality, and delivery management.
* Degree or equivalent work experience as (IT) Project/ Program Manager or Service (Delivery) Manager with several years of professional experience.
* International project experience or consulting experience.
* Process and project management, governance and service management training or certification desirable.
* Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
