Job Purpose
To provide technical support which contributes to maintaining the road network in good condition.

Role requires PVG Membership
With effect from 1 April 2023, candidates for roles requiring PVG membership will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full‑time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above.
The Council will pay the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non‑members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first full month’s salary payment.
Qualifications
• Full Manual UK Driving Licence
• Standard Grade or equivalent in Maths and English

* Proven ability to use a range of computer‑based systems including Office 365 packages and Microsoft Teams
* Proven ability to take a logical and analytical approach to solving problems
* Proven ability to analyse different types of data and identify patterns and trends
* Experience managing competing demands/priorities
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Proven ability to provide good administrative skills
