A key part of your remit will be improving outcomes for children with SEND and those facing disadvantage. You will champion co-production, integrated working, and system-wide improvement to ensure Medways youngest children have the best possible start in life. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of an Early Years and SEND strategy, embedding a clear and shared vision across services Translate strategic aims into clear operational delivery plans with measurable outcomes Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and sector-wide best practice Establish and lead multi-disciplinary working to ensure joined-up service transitions Contribute to safeguarding processes and ensure robust service plan objectives are met Promote equality, work to reduce inequalities, and align work with Medways climate emergency commitments This role reports to the Lead Education Professional for Quality and Inclusion and offers a valuable opportunity to influence strategic direction, strengthen partnerships, and implement sustainable improvements across the Early Years sector.
