Job overview
This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the Trust’s employee relations casework and team, ensuring that case work is carried out in a timely, effective, and efficient manner in accordance with EEAST policies, procedures, current legislation, and best practices.
The successful candidate will support the Head of ER in delivering a comprehensive, high-quality, and timely Employee Relations (ER) service to the Trust, and will deputise for the Deputy Head of Employee Relations as required.
Main duties of the job
In addition to employee relations responsibilities, the role includes line management duties. You will work with ER information systems and undertake projects aimed at continuously improving ER services, including reporting on activity and performance data.
Working for our organization
You will work within the HR department, specifically in the Employee Relations team, liaising with colleagues at various levels to gather information.
This position is offered as maternity cover for 12 months.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience in a related field
Experience
* Advising on complex Employee Relations cases with a high workload
* Knowledge of employment law
* Strong influencing skills
* Experience supervising staff
* Experience working within the NHS
