Our Client has an urgent requirement for an experienced IFA, with CAS, to join the team. This is a firm that values integrity, independence and long-term client relationships.
Working from offices in Berwick, you’ll benefit from an established client bank (Private Clients, Trusts and Corporates) and enjoy the support of experienced paraplanners and administrators.
This is an environment where you’ll be measured on a range of MI metrics i.e. AUA growth, revenue generation, OSR completion statistics, compliance and client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:-
· Provide both initial and ongoing independent financial advice, across all areas of wealth management, including investments, pensions, estate and inheritance tax planning, trusts and protection
· Contribute to the growth and profitability of the firm through strong client relationship building, retention and new business development
· Ensure that all advice and documentation adhere to FCA requirements
· Work closely with experienced and motivated paraplanners and support staff
· Stay up to date with regulatory changes and maintain high professional standards through ongoing CPD and personal development.
Candidate Requirements:
· Strong knowledge of FCA regulations (e.g., COBS, Consumer Duty) and advice standards
· Thorough understanding of financial planning processes and product suitability
· Ability to assess cases critically and provide clear, reasoned input
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Team-oriented with a proactive approach to supporting shared objectives
· Possess a solid work ethic
· Proficient in financial planning tools (e.g., Voyant) and CRM systems (e.g., Xplan)

Qualifications:
· Minimum DipPFS (or equivalent)
