We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. A multilingual or bilingual background, particularly in English and Spanish, is highly desirable.
Duties
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
Maintain an organised and tidy checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively.
Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and effective merchandising strategies.
Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated shifts.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in merchandising is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Time management skills to ensure timely completion of duties throughout shifts.
A friendly disposition with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
