Our client is looking for a highly experienced Compliance Consultant to join their team on a 6-month+ fixed-term contract, providing tailored regulatory support, advisory services and governance expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Acting as MLRO, MLCO and Compliance Officer for client entities.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships to retain and grow business.
* Providing day-to-day advisory support on governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
* Drafting and implementing client policies, procedures and controls.
* Completing bespoke advisory and project work.
* Designing and delivering compliance and AML/CFT training.
* Contributing to business development initiatives, including events and thought leadership.
* Negotiating fees and managing WIP, billing and cost estimates.
* Supporting the broader consultancy team and contributing to firm-wide growth.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in Guernsey compliance and hold a relevant ICA qualification. They will have demonstrable experience acting as MLRO, MLCO or Compliance Officer and possess strong knowledge of the GFSC's POI and/or fiduciary regulatory frameworks. A confident communicator, they will be comfortable working independently, producing written content, and delivering presentations or training. Strong judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted client relationships are essential.
