Mathematics Teacher- September
Milk Education are working with a specialist secondary school in South Liverpool to recruit a qualified Maths Teacher for a September start. This is a full-time position with a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The school supports KS3 and KS4 pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and provides a nurturing, structured environment where students are supported to re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach all Maths and related functional/numeracy sessions
* Adapt teaching to meet a range of SEMH and additional learning needs
* Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies
* Assess, track, and report pupil progress
* Work collaboratively with support staff, SEN professionals, and leadership
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
* Experience working with SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision (desirable but not essential)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Able to plan, deliver, and evaluate the full Maths curriculum
* Resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
