Senior Sales Account Manager – Managed Equipment Services


Territory: Areas of South Central & South West England (See below) - Candidates must live on territory.

Location: Home-based (with field based travel)


An established provider of clinical managed services to the NHS is seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of long-term NHS contracts while developing new managed service opportunities across a defined territory.


This role is suited to a commercially strong account manager who is comfortable operating in complex NHS environments, managing multiple stakeholders and high-value service contracts.


The Role

You will be responsible for managing existing NHS managed service contracts and proactively developing new business opportunities within both existing and new NHS Trust accounts.


Key responsibilities include:


* Managing and growing a portfolio of NHS managed service contracts
* Developing new managed service opportunities within assigned accounts
* Building senior relationships across clinical, operational and procurement teams
* Leading quarterly business reviews and contract performance meetings
* Managing contract renewals, extensions and variations
* Ensuring subcontractors deliver against agreed KPIs and service levels
* Overseeing implementation of new contracts and equipment installations
* Maintaining accurate CRM reporting, forecasting and account plans
* Identifying renewal opportunities 12+ months ahead of contract expiry


Clinical Areas

You will sell end-to-end managed service solutions across multiple NHS clinical services, including:


* Endoscopy
* Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology
* Operating Theatres & Surgical Services
* Renal & Dialysis
* Cardiology / Cath Labs
* Pathology & Laboratory Services


These services are delivered under long-term managed service contracts, supporting clinical uptime, compliance, and operational efficiency.


Territory

The role covers the following regions:


* South West England
* Wiltshire
* Somerset
* Devon
* Oxfordshire
* Buckinghamshire
* Berkshire
* Hampshire
* Dorset
* Sussex
* Surrey


The role is home-based, with approximately 60% travel to NHS Trust sites.


About You

Candidates must (Please check you meet the criteria below)


* 4 years+ Medtech Sales Experience in a field based sales role
* Proven Track record in sales growth
* Stability in their current role
* Enjoy winning new business & whilst managing current accounts.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage complex contracts
