Pudsey
Coop Academy Priesthorpe
£33,366 - £35,235 a year
Posted: 1 October
Offer description

We are looking to appoint an Attendance Improvement Officer who will work within our pastoral team to monitor and improve student attendance. Your organised and methodical approach will enable you to track attendance and punctuality, highlighting areas of concern and acting upon this.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role, with an understanding of the legislation and statutory framework around school attendance. You will work well within a team as well as using your own initiative to prioritise your workload in a fast paced environment to ensure deadlines are met. Your strengths will include building good relationships with children and adults, coupled with patience and a sense of humour and a willingness to be fully involved in school life.

At the top of your game, you'll have great behaviours, strong organisational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and be able to work constructively as part of a team. How and why you do things matters greatly to us, as does your ability to use your initiative, work independently and be resilient. In return you'll be joining a great team, about which Ofsted commented, "Many staff are proud members of what they describe as the 'Priesthorpe family'".

You'll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.

Equality: We are proud to be part of a very multicultural academy, with students from all over the world; it is important that we treat each other with respect and accept that others may be different from ourselves. We should all of us have equal chances to succeed.

Equity: We want to look for the best in each other. Rewarding others fairly to encourage all types of achievement.

Democracy: We will contribute our ideas to make the academy a success.

Solidarity: We can achieve more by working together, rather than as individuals.
