I am looking to recruit an experienced Personal Health Care Assistant to join a small team of Personal Assistants who enable me to live independently in my adapted home in Sittingbourne. I am a man in my 60s with a high spinal cord injury and need support with safe moving and handling, personal care, preparation and cooking of meals, as well health care tasks such as stoma and catheter care, for which training will be provided. I’m keen to employ someone that is reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, and able to use their own initiative. Working as a Personal Health Care Assistant differs from other care roles. Hours Monday and Thursday: 9 hours during the day and 9 hours at night every 3rd weekend Saturday and Sunday: 9 hours during the day and 9 hours at night. Hourly rate is £14.00 per hour. There may be some flexibility if applicants can only work day shifts or night shifts and additional hours may be available for the right applicant.
