Role summary: An EC&I design engineering role focused on delivering and assuring electrical and control design packages for multidisciplinary projects within a regulated environment. The role supports safe, compliant and efficient project delivery across the full lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning and handover. What you will be doing: Producing, supporting and checking EC&I design packages to meet safety, functional and business requirements Delivering electrical design solutions covering power, lighting and earthing systems Applying relevant engineering standards, codes and best practice throughout the design lifecycle Supporting construction and commissioning activities to ensure effective implementation of designs Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders Providing guidance and support to early career engineers Contributing to design reviews, assurance activities and handover documentation Formal qualifications or training: HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline Incorporated Engineer status or working towards professional registration Ongoing professional development aligned with relevant EC&I standards and project requirements Make a Difference with DBD: At DBD, we know you're looking for more than just a job - you aspire to make a real impact in the nuclear industry.
