Production Team Leader
Location: Tonypandy
Salary: £38,000
Schedule – Monday to Friday 5:30am to 2:15pm & 1:30pm to 10:15pn (Rotating Weekly)

Our commitment to quality and innovation drives our success, and we are looking for a dedicated Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team and drive the operations forwards.
As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing a production team, ensuring efficient and effective production operations whilst maintaining quality, safety and productivity standards. You will be responsible for the daily schedule, training plans and support of production operators within your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise, train and motivate production team members.
Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring targets are met.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control processes, ensuring targets are met.
Safety Compliance: Ensure safety standards are met and maintained in the workplace.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, such as planning, engineering and supply chain to address production issues and ensure smooth operation.
Performance Management: Evaluate team performance, provide feedback and address any performance issues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, and quality data.
Knowledge:
Strong ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively
Strong organisational skills to manage schedules and workloads
Understanding of production processes, quality control procedures and relevant safety standards
Proficient in using relevant software and tools
Proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory role – ideally food manufacturing or equivalent
Experience of managing teams within a fast paced and complex environments
Ability to be agile and work within a faced paced environment
Strong people management & leadership skills
Ability to build effective relationships
Works effectively - tackling immediate demands decisively
Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results
Attention to detail in key areas across all aspects of this role
