We’re looking for confident, calm, and classroom-ready Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Gloucester. No teaching experience needed, no subject knowledge required, no last-minute marking marathons. You simply guide classes through the work that’s already been set by the teacher. Nice and straightforward.
What you’ll be doing
1. Covering a teacher’s timetable for the day
2. Supervising lessons across a mix of subjects
3. Leading form time or registration
4. Keeping the classroom calm, focused, and on track
5. Being the steady, sensible adult in the room
If you’ve ever organised a group of friends, wrangled younger siblings, or held your nerve during a group quiz, you’ve already got the foundations of what schools value most: great behaviour management.

Travel
You’ll be working at different secondary schools around Gloucester, so being able to drive or reach schools easily by public transport is essential.
