Field Support Merchandiser – Edinburgh
Salary: £25,936.20 + Company Van (new fleet due to be rolled out) – vehicle can be used for personal use, Fuel card provided with claimable rate in line with pump costs
Tax-free expense allowance: £520pa in addition to salary

Schwartz is currently looking for a full-time Field Support Merchandiser to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
Working 40 hours each week, Monday – Saturday (with Wednesday off). The role offers some flexibility, especially with start times. No scheduled Sunday work; only required at Christmas, when double time is paid. Some overnight stays are required; when working away, days will be Monday to Friday.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and manage store contact relationships within major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA, and Morrisons.
2. Use technology to maintain product availability and record excellent execution in store.
3. Collect and deliver stock to stores daily to ensure 100% product availability and compliance with store plans.
4. Maintain store records, including inventory.
5. Support other brands within the McCormick family when required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Full UK driving license (essential), right to work in the UK, and a UK bank account.
* Fluent in English.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* Willing to stay away from home when required (accommodation and meals covered).
* Positive “can-do” attitude, with strong relationship management skills.
* Enjoys being on the road and working autonomously.
* Team player, sharing ideas and practices to drive success.
* Customer-focused mindset.
* Comfortable using technology.
* Physical fitness for the role’s demands.
* Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality (e.g., bar staff, waiting staff) is advantageous.
