Chef - Leicester Chef Catering and Hospitality - Hazelbrook Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: 13.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full Time Hazelbrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built home providing specialist and complex care for 80 residents across four 20 bed bungalow style households. Designed to support calm, therapeutic living, the home provides care for people with advanced dementia, complex nursing needs and mental health conditions. Chef 13.00 per hour Full time contract Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract The Role As Chef, you will support the preparation and delivery of high quality meals for residents, ensuring food is nutritious, well balanced and tailored to individual dietary needs. Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness. You will prepare and cook hot and cold meals, support menu planning and ensure meals meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences. You will assist with monitoring stock levels, checking deliveries and ensuring correct storage and stock rotation of food supplies. You will also maintain accurate food safety records, monitor fridge and freezer temperatures and ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils and preparation areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Your role will help ensure residents enjoy meals that are nutritious, well presented and contribute positively to their overall wellbeing.
