What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll join our Grounds Maintenance team, helping to look after over 550 sites across Dorset. Your day-to-day work will include grass cutting, maintaining hedges and shrub beds, marking out sports pitches, and responding quickly to issues that arise. You’ll work closely with your Team Leader to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service that keeps our spaces safe and attractive for everyone to enjoy.

* you’ll be physically fit, enthusiastic and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers
* you’ll be a team player who’s also able to use your own initiative and work hard to get the job done
* you’ll have good communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with clients and members of the public
* you’ll take pride in representing Dorset Council and promoting the value of our work
