As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work alongside trained professionals like SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists. This role offers the chance to learn from specialists and develop your skills in understanding and managing challenging behaviours.
Your responsibilities will include working with young learners displaying behaviours outside expected boundaries, implementing specific strategies, providing emotional support, and promoting positive habits to enhance their well-being and social interactions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent behavioural management skills, be committed to improving the lives of challenging young people, and adapt strategies to individual needs. Experience working with difficult behaviour, mental health issues, or SEN children is advantageous.
