Finance Manager - Projects & Change (12 Month FTC)
TEAM
As a key member of the Investment Finance team, within Financial Planning & Analysis, this role reports to the Senior Finance Manager responsible for IT, Data & Change (ITD&C) and E-Commerce. The team partners with the ITD&C function (including the easyJet Airline change portfolio) and the E-Commerce team.
This role will directly support the Delivery & Change Director and the wider IT Leadership Team (ITDLT), offering exposure to senior stakeholders and a mix of project-based business partnering and FP&A with opportunities for strategic insight and value creation. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior non-finance stakeholders to support delivery of multiple priorities and collaborate with the broader Finance team on monthly management reporting and regular reforecasting for the Airline portfolio.
Location & Hours
This full-time role is based in Luton and is 40 hours per week on a hybrid working model.

Job Purpose
• Provide effective analytical support to the Senior Finance Manager ITD&C and the Director for Delivery & Change.
• Create certainty and confidence in the Airline portfolio forecast for both cost and benefits.
• Support/lead both Finance and business stakeholders in project delivery and financial management processes, ensuring consistency of approach, tracking and challenge.
Job Accountabilities
Business Partnering / FP&A
* Provides a true business partner framework to the ITD&C function, ensuring owners have the right insight and information. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including wider finance, IT and procurement to ensure integrity of results and maximum ROI.
* Accurately consolidate future performance across portfolio costs and benefits, understand variances between actuals and forecasts, conduct analysis (including insights and recommendations) and drive continuous improvements across related processes.
* Drive continuous improvement across processes to support informed decision making.
People Leadership, Relationships and Influence
* Coordinate inputs from PMs and FBPs across the business and manage them to meet deadlines.
* Maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
* Provide subject matter expertise to a diverse set of stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for deep-dive reviews and support them with analysis and strategic input.
* Work with and mentor junior team members.
Key Performance Indicators & Financial Targets
* Monthly reporting and underlying processes delivered within deadlines (e.g., KNF, Factbook, PBT).
* Month-end budget variance analysis consolidated with clear explanations; investigations/deep dives as required.
* Deliver key insight on Portfolio costs for AMB/PLC reporting.
* Deliver on ad hoc projects as required by the Senior Finance Manager.

Key Skills Required
* Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, preferably with experience in business partnering within a large organisation.
* A motivated qualified accountant able to manage a large, complex, fast-moving function and drive change.
* Strong analytical skills with solid variance analysis and driver understanding.
* Ability to deliver to deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and challenging of stakeholders at all senior levels.
* Ability to demonstrate the commercial value of Finance interventions or projects.
* Ability to explain finance to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proactive team player with curiosity and initiative; self-starter with motivation.
* Excellent Excel skills.
