Powertrain Data Administrator
Contract: Outside IR35
Hybrid (2-3 days on site)
Location: Crewe
35 hours per week
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support certification and type approval processes within a leading automotive R&D environment. As a Powertrain Data Administrator, you will play a key role in managing technical data catalogues critical to powertrain homologation, helping ensure compliance across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation, maintenance, and administration of technical data catalogues in DMS.
Coordinate with R&D teams to gather and track certification data across model years.
Lead alignment on data ownership and delivery responsibilities across functional departments.
Monitor data population progress, report KPIs, and manage weekly support meetings with stakeholders.
Administer catalogue reviews, sign-offs, and downstream change management.
Maintain system integrity in response to regulatory updates and project requirements.
What You’ll Need:
Experience or knowledge of powertrain certification or type approval processes.
Familiarity with document/data management systems (ideally DMS).
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
