Teaching Assistant (1:1 - KS1)
Location: Stockport Area
Start Date: 13th April
Contract: Long-term, ongoing MAYBE FOR 12 MONTHS
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Stockport area seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil on a long-term, ongoing basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
Role Overview:
* Providing 1:1 support for a pupil within Key Stage 1
* Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Assisting with tailored activities and interventions
* Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within KS1
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
