Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Winchester / Remote
Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 p/a + £4k shift allowance (approx.)
1st Line Support Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line support to customers on a range of IT issues
* Adhere to specifics SLA's in response to issues
* Provide customers with regular updates on open issues and set appropriate expectations
* Proactively manage and monitor ticket queues
* Troubleshooting product issues or network-related problems
* Analysing and recommending solutions to problems
* Perform on call support for 24*7 customers as part of an out of hours rota
1st Line Support Engineer - Required Experience
* Microsoft Operating Systems
* 2+ years' experience in IT Support (1st/2nd line level)
* Excellent communication skills
* Good telephone manner, good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly and cross apply knowledge
* Excellent customer service skills, taking pride in resolving issues for people
