Job Duties:
The primary teacher is responsible for delivering engaging music lessons to primary school students. They must create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. The teacher should collaborate with colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), possess an undergraduate degree.
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching primary school students is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, excellent organisational skills, musicality, outstanding communication skills, and active listening skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications or training in music is desirable.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in 2 primary schools based in Loughbroough, and one in Coalville. The teacher will interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.
