TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of secondary schools in Middlesbrough, offering supportive and well-structured environments for staff and students. These schools promote a positive ethos, strong behaviour policies, and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
The schools are looking to appoint a confident Cover Supervisor on a long-term or day-to-day basis. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for leading classes across Key Stages, managing behaviour effectively, and ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working within a school setting or similar environment
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence leading a classroom and delivering pre-planned lessons
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude
